Producer prices in El Salvador saw a 2.32% increase year-over-year in March 2025, moderating slightly from a 2.65% rise in February. This increase was largely attributed to sectors such as manufacturing, which rose by 0.77%, albeit down from 1.43% in the previous month. Utilities experienced an uptick to 8.1% from February's 5.3%. The real estate sector recorded a rise to 5.34% from 5.16%, and transport prices moved up to 5.57% from 5.34%. Additional sectors experiencing growth included restaurants and hotels, which increased by 5.53% compared to the previous month's 5.86%, communications that slightly dipped to 2.76% from 2.78%, education which remained steady at 4.48%, and health, which grew to 3.63% from 3.38%. In contrast, the water supply utilities sector saw a decrease of 0.2%, following no change in February. On a monthly comparison, producer prices advanced by 0.5%.
